He came to Aspen in 1972 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in search of a lifelong dream to live in the West. He began a family with wife Brigid, and they are proud parents of son Will and daughter Alexandra. Taking full advantage of the Aspen lifestyle, Brian is an avid golfer, skier, fly-fisherman and traveler.
Hazen joined Coates Reid & Waldron in 1977 and became a full partner and member of the Managing Broker group. Brian earned CRW’s “Top Producer Award” 11 of their last 12 years and Mason Morse’s “Top Producer Award” in 2009 and 2010. Brian is highly regarded in the industry having sold over $100 million in both 2005 and 2007 and approaching one billion dollars in career sales. Brian specializes in marketing luxury homes and town homes, building sites, ranches and a special interest in rare country estates.
“After 32 years with only one company, it was important to me to join a highly professional firm that shared my personal philosophy of hard work, superior market knowledge, and a comprehensive marketing program that reaches local, national and international clientele. Additionally, I wanted to join a well-respected team of true professionals with a reputation for integrity and fairness,” said Hazen, Vice President/Broker Associate of Mason Morse. “I found those dynamics and more at Mason Morse.”
“Brian Hazen is an ‘Instant Impact Player’,” said Bob Starodoj, President of Mason Morse Real Estate. “He is a valuable addition, and his experience, integrity and diligence are aligned with Mason Morse’s core values and future goals.”
Brian commits fully to each of his clients by offering the highest possible service on a “24/7” basis. When not assisting his clients, Brian spends much of his time giving back to the community, and is active in many local charities and organizations such as St. Mary’s Church, Aspen Education Foundation, Aspen Junior Golf, Aspen/Santa Fe Ballet, Aspen Youth Center and the Aspen Historical Society.
