Originally from a small town in Washington State, Chris grew up on a farm surrounded by eleven brothers and sisters. According to Chris, growing up in a large family teaches you fundamental life skills such as: how to share, how to play well with others, and to help out when you need to. Her strong work ethic originates from driving trucks and combines in the steepest wheat farming country in the world, the Palouse Hills. When you work twelve plus hours a day, seven days a week to bring in a harvest, there is no time to relax. In her words, "You learn to cut to the chase and get the job done no matter what it takes!"
Chris obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from one of the toughest schools in the Pacific Northwest, Whitman College. She graduated Cum Laude and was the only student in her department to pass her oral exams with distinction. She honed her contract negotiation and management skills running the Pitkin County Solid Waste Center in Aspen, CO. This included managing three separate departments, a multi-million dollar budget, thirteen employees and a myriad of local, state and federal entities to which she reported. Her professional career has also included teaching troubled adolescents, working on a timber crew, fighting fires for the forest service, and bartending.
If you are looking for a realtor with integrity, a relentless work ethic, a professional attitude, and a positive approach, you need to look no further! As your broker, Chris will listen to what you have to say, anticipate your needs, and do her best to match you with your dreams.
