New Castle is a quaint town situated in a narrow valley with views of mountain peaks, and it is the proud home of an award-winning golf course. This town is rich in history and charm. New Castle's prime location on the western edge of the Rocky Mountains, temperate climate, friendly neighborhoods, great schools and easy access to I-70 make New Castle a highly attractive community in which to live, work and play.

Location
New Castle is nestled in the Colorado River Valley, at the western edge of the Rocky Mountains at an altitude of 5,550 feet above Sea Level.
Climate
Our climate partakes of both the mountains and the high desert to the west. We have at least 260 days of sunlight per year. High temperatures in the summer can reach 90° and January lows can drop to 10°. The average lows in January are in the mid 20′s and the average highs in July are in the mid 70′s.

Bear Dance Park "Mackonseepi" is New Castle's newest park, complete with pickleball courts, volleyball lawn, playground and walking paths and is located at Clubhouse Drive and Castle Valley Boulevard.
