Instead, hop on your bike so you can go slow and appreciate the crispy fall leaves along the berm and the colorful canopy overhead. Prince Creek Road will also bring you to lots of other bike paths, including Porcupine Loop, West Sopris Creek Loop, and Hay Park Trail. Make a day of it and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Hay Park.

Roaring Fork Valley

The Roaring Fork Valley is nothing short of magnificentfor fall biking in Aspen. The river runs pretty wild, but there are plenty of places to rest from your biking along the shores of the rushing water. Pick up online maps for the trails at the Roaring Fork Bike Association site at the MTB Project, which incidentally is an online guide and directory of mountain biking trails nationwide. There are dozens of Roaring Fork Valley trails to choose from, each offeringa unique perspective of the fall landscape.
